Shipping Policy

5.1 Worldwide shipping from the United Kingdom

Edge Works Craft ships products worldwide from the United Kingdom, subject to courier availability, destination restrictions, customs rules, import laws and product-specific shipping limitations.

We reserve the right to refuse, hold or cancel any order where shipping is not available, lawful, safe or commercially practical.

5.2 Shipping zones and country-based charges

Different shipping charges apply for different countries and shipping zones.

For standard products such as chef knives, chef sets and culinary knives, shipping charges are calculated according to the destination country or shipping zone.

Where free shipping promotions are available, they apply only to eligible products and eligible destinations.

Free shipping may not apply to every country, product, order value or product category.

5.4 Display Swords & Axes shipping

Display Swords & Axes are larger, heavier and more expensive to package and transport than standard products.

For this reason:

  • Display Swords & Axes are excluded from standard shipping rates unless stated otherwise.
  • Display Swords & Axes are excluded from free shipping promotions unless expressly stated.
  • Display Swords & Axes may carry higher shipping charges because of size, weight and packaging requirements.
  • Shipping charges for Display Swords & Axes may vary significantly by destination country.
  • Additional courier, handling, insurance or customs documentation charges may apply.

The final shipping charge for Display Swords & Axes will be shown at checkout where available, or may be confirmed separately before dispatch if manual shipping confirmation is required.

5.5 Delivery timeframe

Estimated delivery time is usually 2–5 business days after dispatch for many orders.

5.8 Import restrictions and refused parcels

Customers are responsible for checking whether the product can be legally imported into their country.

If a parcel is delayed, refused, seized, destroyed, returned or charged additional fees because of customs rules, import restrictions, prohibited-item rules, local age restrictions or customer failure to comply with local law, Edge Works Craft is not responsible for the loss, delay or additional cost.

If the parcel is returned to us, any refund may be reduced by:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Return shipping charges
  • Customs charges
  • Courier fees
  • Handling fees
  • Any loss or damage caused during return transit

This does not affect your statutory rights where the product is faulty or where the issue is caused by our confirmed error.

5.9 Delivery address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

We may deliver to residential or business addresses where lawful and courier service is available.

We may refuse delivery to addresses where lawful, safe or practical delivery cannot be completed.

5.10 Age-restricted delivery and safe receipt

Our products are strictly for customers aged 18 or above.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or above.
  • The information provided at checkout is true and accurate.
  • You are purchasing the product for lawful kitchen use, gifting, collection or display purposes only.
  • The product will not be supplied, gifted, resold or made available to anyone under 18.

If we are not satisfied that the customer is aged 18 or above, we may cancel the order and refund the actual amount paid using the original payment method.

5.11 Failed delivery

If delivery fails because the address is incorrect, incomplete, inaccessible or because the customer is unavailable, the customer may be responsible for:

5.12 Lost parcels

We will investigate with the courier and provide an appropriate solution depending on the outcome.

5.13 Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of receiving it.

Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Photos or video of the damaged packaging
  • Photos or video of the item
  • A short explanation of the issue

Do not dispose of the packaging until we have reviewed the issue.

5.14 Delays outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Payment review
  • Age verification review
  • Public holidays
  • Severe weather
  • Strikes
