2.1 Worldwide sales from the United Kingdom

Edge Works Craft sells and ships products worldwide from the United Kingdom, subject to:

  • Product availability
  • Courier availability
  • Destination-country restrictions
  • Customs rules
  • Import laws
  • Age-restricted product rules
  • Local laws in the customer’s country

We reserve the right to refuse, hold or cancel any order where we believe the product cannot be lawfully, safely or practically delivered to the destination country.

2.2 Age restriction: 18+ only

All products on our website are strictly for customers aged 18 years or above.

By entering our website, browsing our products, creating an account, placing an order or completing checkout, you confirm that you are aged 18 or above.

Before completing an order, you must confirm that you are 18 years or above.

We reserve the right to request further proof of age before accepting, processing or dispatching any order.

2.3 Responsibility for local laws

Customers are responsible for checking whether the product they wish to purchase is legal to buy, import, possess, receive, use, gift or display in their country, state, province, city or local area.

This is especially important for knives, culinary knives, display swords, display axes and other bladed products.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally allowed to import the product into your country.
  • You are legally allowed to receive the product at the delivery address.
  • You will not provide the product to anyone under 18.
  • You will use, store and handle the product safely and lawfully.

Edge Works Craft is not responsible for orders delayed, refused, seized, destroyed, returned or charged additional fees due to destination-country laws, customs rules, import restrictions or customer failure to comply with local requirements.

2.4 Product use

Products sold by Edge Works Craft are intended only for:

  • Lawful kitchen use
  • Culinary preparation
  • Gifting
  • Collection
  • Display purposes

Products are not sold for violence, intimidation, self-defence, public carrying, unlawful resale, illegal use or any offensive purpose.

Customers are responsible for safe handling, storage, transport and lawful use after purchase.

2.5 Display swords and axes

Display swords and axes are sold for gifting, collecting and display purposes only unless a product page clearly states otherwise.

These items may be larger, heavier and more complex to ship than standard kitchen products. For this reason, Display Swords & Axes may carry higher shipping charges than other products.

Free shipping or standard shipping promotions do not apply to Display Swords & Axes unless expressly stated on the product page or checkout page.

2.6 Product descriptions and handmade variation

We aim to describe all products accurately, including material, size, weight, finish, intended use and key features.

However, minor variations may occur due to:

  • Handmade finishing
  • Natural material variation
  • Blade pattern variation
  • Handle colour or grain differences
  • Lighting and photography
  • Screen display settings
  • Manufacturing or finishing tolerances

Such minor differences do not usually mean the product is faulty.

2.7 Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise displayed.

Payment must be completed at checkout using the payment methods available on our website.

We may accept payments through Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay and other payment methods shown at checkout.

2.8 Customs, duties and taxes

For international orders, customers are responsible for all destination-country charges, including:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT, sales tax or local tax
  • Brokerage fees
  • Customs clearance charges
  • Courier handling fees
  • Any other government or delivery-related charges

These charges are not included in our product price or shipping charge unless clearly stated at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or import inspections.

2.9 Coupons and discounts

Coupons and discounts must be used according to the terms shown at the time of promotion.

If a coupon or discount is used, any eligible refund will be based on the actual amount paid after the discount, not the original full price.

2.10 Order confirmation and acceptance

After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee final acceptance or dispatch.

We reserve the right to review and cancel any order before dispatch.

2.11 Order cancellation before dispatch

You may request order cancellation before dispatch.

If your order has not been dispatched and we accept the cancellation, we will refund the actual amount paid using the original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled as a pre-dispatch cancellation. However, your statutory cancellation and return rights may still apply after delivery.

2.12 Right to refuse or cancel orders

We may refuse, hold or cancel an order if:

  • Age confirmation is missing, false, incomplete or suspicious
  • We are not satisfied that the customer is aged 18 or above
  • The order appears suspicious, unsafe, unlawful or high-risk
  • The destination country restricts or prohibits the product
  • The courier cannot safely or lawfully deliver the product
  • Payment is not completed or is flagged for review
  • The delivery address is incomplete, incorrect or unsuitable
  • The order may breach UK law, destination-country law, courier rules or our policies

If we cancel an order before dispatch, we will refund the actual amount paid using the original payment method.
